Client Manager - Social Impact

Our team designs and implements impact strategies for corporations and other clients seeking to connect their purpose and profit and startup founders of color seeking to scale their ventures.


We are seeking a talented and diverse early-career professional / recent graduate to serve in a full-time leadership for our corporate client work. Candidates must have a strong passion for community engagement, social justice, racial equity, and corporate social impact.

The Client Manager will be expected to:

  • The Manager will help lead client relationship and project management responsibilities, including strategic advising, community engagement, project and / or event deliverables, client communications, timelines, execution, production, and project data & evaluation

  • Assist research and outreach efforts to improve client acquisition and corporate insights

  • Work with team and venture partner -- The Soze Agency -- to support overall strategic and growth decision-making


The following are relevant for any candidate applying:

  • Previous corporate and community impact consulting experience and / or a desire to take initiative as a self-starter, the ability to work independently, and to bring a proactive approach to solving problems

  • Ability to manage and lead a complex project and meet deadlines, while creating a positive and inclusive team environment.

  • Ability to solve complex challenges by identifying innovative solutions and facilitating coordination with team members

  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills at a national level

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Leadership experience managing teams to successful outcomes

  • Ability to adapt to the needs and working styles of diverse clients and partners, facilitate meetings and conversations, and bring groups to consensus

  • Understanding and / or willingness to learn about social impact in the corporate space

  • Passion for racial equity and authentic community engagement


  • Must be located in the Washington, DC region

  • Compensation is commensurate with experience
